Your stamina is probably exhausted https://wiki.andrealphusgames.com/wiki/Wiki_Resources#Others

The 404 should be resolved now

What's the issue there? any error message?

In the downloader, when the "waiting for authentication" step takes too much time, a "manual authentication" button will show up.

Clicking on this button will open your browser again on the url https://portal.eu.andrealphusgames.com/token?manual=True

Going through the authentication process will lead you to a page showing the token to paste in the downloader

On the pc version do you have a log.txt or a traceback.txt in the root folder of the game?

By any chance do you have a log.txt or traceback.txt in the save folder (Document/Renpy_saves/loveandsexsecondbase_downloader_standard)?

After downloading the files, the game needs a few (~5/10) minutes to compile the new files. It should happen once, next starts should be faster.

Can you try with the latest version of the downloader?
We reworked a lot of things to try to get rid of this 401 issue.

Due to the changes, you will probably hit the 401 again the first time you'll try to download the game. Log in again and it should be fine.

I just checked. I don't hit the issue anymore.
I'll try to push another version of the downloader soon.

I found the issue and pushed an older version of the downloader until l can fix it.
Can you download it again and tell me if it's better?

What's your error? 401?

Users reported that using another browser helped them bypass the 401 issue

Agreed about the downloader being a nightmare.
Be assured that the downloader transition is not a wanted but a required transition to keep supporting android.

- https://itch.io/post/9633987: What's the version at the bottom right of the main screen of the new download? Which exact issues are not fixed?

- https://itch.io/post/9634011: I suppose you only have the missing girls on the android version (which version exactly?). As you own this game on steam, do you have the same issue on steam too?

Thanks for reaching us on discord, it'll be easier to follow your replies

What's the crash on this version?

Which version exactly? There was a bugfix release today 23.4.0b, do you have any issues with this one?

You downloaded the latest android package, launched it. And did it download anything, asked for authentication?

But you're able to log on the portal without issue ?
Can you try to clear your browser cookies from *.andrealphusgames.com and 127.0.0.1 before retrying.

Your browser should open in this step, asking you to login.
Did it showed up?

What's your issue, do you have an error message?

Hi, do you have any extra info on this 401 ? The file requested ?

Yes !

Most of the issues with the downloader are fixed.
We're tracking any error left.

Bonjour, vous devriez pouvoir lancer le jeu en cliquant sur l’exécutable LoSeB qui se trouve à la racine de la clé

Est ce que l'utilisation des spoilers sur cet évènement donne des infos supplémentaires ?

The downloader is painfully slow. There's multiple reasons.

- As stated before, it's a new feature, we've only deployed it on the EU servers. Once stabilized, we'll deploy it on US servers too.
- For some reason, the download is way slower on Android compared to my test on PC. I suspect it's related to multi threading management by Android
- The way RenPy handle the whole process (hash checking downloaded files/integrity checks...) Even during my tests on our local network, the download process take ages

So there's possible improvement.
But first we need to fix/stabilize the whole process

The downloader is a new feature and is still unstable, but we're working on fixing/stabilizing it.

Does your error happen as soon as you launch the download? Or did it manage to download files before throwing the error?

We were able to narrow the issue to a change in the calendar (switching from 30 days per month to 31 days per month).

It should be fixed in the next monthly.

A user reported that he was able to bypass this issue with the multi app feature.
He manages to keep the browser and the download active in a split screen.

It should be fixed

Sometimes I don't understand how Itch.io works...
It also ask me to buy the game I'm working on....

You should be able to find the download files if you go in "My libray".

If you're downloading PC/Linux/Mac versions, you don't need to patch anything.
The version of the game (latest: 24.2.0b) is shown at the bottom right of the main menu.

In the last months, we changed the saves location to your Document folder (that's why the game asks for the folder permission).
You should have a renpy saves folder in Documents with subfolders under it.
You can copy/paste saves files from between folders as you want.
Achievements are stored in the persistent file, which should be in these folders too

It's not up to date but still has useful information:

I just found/fix another issue with 24.2.0b and itchio. Can you retry please?

I just found/fix another issue with 24.2.0b and itchio. Can you retry please?

Thanks for the help. The issue behind the error is caused by an internal 404 error that can't be parsed in json.
I just found and fix another issue with 24.2.0b and itch.io
Can you retry?

This should be fixed

I just push a new fix. Can you check again? Thanks

I just push a new fix. Can you check again?

Thanks

Hum, I'm not sure what's going on but the whole thing works as intended on my side...

I'm still going to check if I can find out why the authentication doesn't work on your side
